Professional Facilitation Suitable for High-Performing Organisations
We facilitate learning teams, risk assessments, and investigations that drive effective outcomes.
We help improve your organisation’s safety and resiliency.
At Investigations Differently, we understand that it can take time for organisations to build the capability and capacity to enable professional facilitation.
We bridge the gap by conducting facilitation services led by experienced consultants that go beyond the basics to ensure the growth of your organisation’s capability to deliver high level outcomes. Further our consultants utilise the opportunity to mentor the team to improve their facilitation skills.
What we offer:
We take a fresh approach to workplace investigations by learning from an organisation’s workforce – the experts who take pride in their work. We combine your internal requirements with our contemporary, multi-theory approach to discover the context and systems of work that enable an event and to promote delivery of “no-blame” outcomes.
We focus on identifying and assessing genuine risks and hazards by looking at day-to-day factors, resource constraints and systemic issues to develop effective and innovative controls to manage the risk and reduce incidents in the workplace.
Learning Teams are facilitated workshops that are designed to enable leaders to discover the underlying conditions, system and context that drives the work. We work with your team to identify workplace issues and to uncover potential solutions.
Drive Effective Outcomes Like Our Clients
Investigations Differently – provided tools to better gain the information required to not only address the issues surrounding an event, but identify systemic issues that can be addressed to prevent similar events from occurring in the future.
Facilitation was engaging, used real life experiences and examples, to engage students. Practical exercises targeted relevant subjects for the audience, to better meet outcomes.

The training was not what I was expecting. I had a pre conceived notion that it was going to focus on the actual implementation of the Blueline Methodology and the incident investigation. It actually exceeded my expectations, in that it focussed on the critical thinking skills and change in perception from a blame/fault ideology to an understanding of why people make mistakes. Without understanding the work being performed, you can not understand the factors influencing decisions made in the course of that work. I will be applying these learnings going forward, with a focus on looking for systemic issues that affect work as done. Found it to challenged my perceptions, giving much to think about when investigating incidents and indeed observing and understanding work. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the content was really interesting and totally relevant – presented in a way that resonated to everyone on the course.

Thank you for delivering a great course. I’m pleased I was able to participate in the face-to-face sessions. My way of thinking and acceptance of the practices we have at Sims was certainly challenged. It was a pleasure to participate.
